Get alerts on your phone
Free notifications when STI posts a new alert or a threat level changes.
Alerts are delivered by ntfy, a free, open-source notification app. No account, email or phone number needed, and you can unsubscribe in the app at any time.
- Get the free ntfy app from the App Store.
- Tap Copy below. In ntfy, tap +, paste, tap Subscribe, and allow notifications.
- Get the free ntfy app from Google Play.
- Tap Subscribe in ntfy below and allow notifications. (Or tap Copy, then + in ntfy and paste.)
- Tap Open in browser below.
- Click Subscribe / allow notifications on that page. Keep that tab or app installed to keep getting alerts.
No app? Not getting alerts?
- iPhone without the app: tap Open in browser, then Share → Add to Home Screen, open it from the Home Screen and turn on notifications (iOS 16.4 or later). Notifications from a Safari tab alone don't work on iPhone.
- Blocked notifications? If you tapped "Don't Allow", turn them back on in Settings → Notifications → ntfy (iPhone) or Settings → Apps → ntfy → Notifications (Android).
- Android delays? In ntfy, turn on instant delivery for the subscription.
- To stop: remove the subscription in ntfy (or uninstall it).
